Founded in 1965 by Hitoshi Konno and currently led by master builder Shin-Ichi Konno, Cherubim is one of Tokyo's most celebrated custom bicycle workshops. Renowned worldwide for both competitive track steel frames and avant-garde road creations, Cherubim blends meticulous hand-brazing with modern aerodynamic design.
Founder Story
Hitoshi Konno established Konno Cycle Works in 1965, supplying frames for Japan's 1968 Olympic team. His son Shin-Ichi Konno assumed leadership and earned international acclaim, including multiple Best in Show honors at the North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS).
