Philosophy
To incorporate the combined perspectives of rider, listener, and builder, creating simple custom steel bikes with carefully selected tube dimensions that owners will cherish for a lifetime.
About
Handcrafted in Sakai City, Osaka, by framebuilder Shouichi Soukawa, CORNER Bikes (Soukawa Garage) produces bespoke steel bicycles built to order using Kaisei and Columbus tubing. Integrating collaborative input between rider, designer, and mechanic, Soukawa crafts refined fillet-brazed and TIG-welded steel frames designed for gravel, road, and daily riding. His workshop also operates as a full-service bicycle shop and custom community hub.
Founder Story
Shouichi Soukawa served as a UCI road race mechanic, certified safety mechanic, and mechanics school instructor before opening Soukawa Garage in Sakai City, Osaka.
