Raussen Rahmen (XXL-bikes Frank Raußen) is a specialized German custom framebuilder based in Wettringen. Founded by master mechanical engineer Frank Raußen, the workshop crafts custom steel and aluminum frames engineered specifically for tall riders, high load capacities up to 190 kg, and custom e-bikes.
Founder Story
Frank Raußen, a master mechanical engineer measuring 1.98 meters tall, struggled to find bicycles sized appropriately for his height. Turning necessity into craft, he began fabricating custom frames in his home garage before establishing a full-time workshop in Wettringen alongside his wife Ruth.
