Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, Süfur Cycles is a custom framebuilding workshop created by ultra-endurance bikepacker and designer Rufus Wenlock. Blending hands-on fabrication with deep field-testing across demanding terrain, Süfur handcrafts rugged steel bicycles designed for self-sufficient adventure and long-distance exploration.
Founder Story
Rufus Wenlock spent over a decade building and testing custom bicycle frames for his own ultra-endurance racing needs before officially launching Süfur Cycles in Christchurch. As sole designer, fabricator, and tester, he crafts steel bikes engineered specifically for rugged bikepacking and extreme off-road terrain.
