Founder Story
Maurice Woodrup established Woodrup Cycles in Leeds in 1947 after learning his trade alongside Bob Jackson. Over the decades, the business expanded under Maurice's son Steve Woodrup and subsequent generations, building a formidable racing heritage that included frames for professional racers and international competitions. Today, Woodrup continues to hand-craft custom steel frames from its long-standing Kirkstall Road location.
